YOUNG TALENT TIME REUNION CONCERT

ADELAIDE CABARET FESTIVAL

Beven, not only appeared in the Young Talent Time Reunion concert at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival but also produced the show pulling together a concert met with rave reviews.

It was a very special night, and so great to perform with everyone again, Beven said after the concert.

Keep an eye out for news on a National Tour.

REVIEWS

"It was obvious Beven Addinsall who was popular during his time on the show, was also a crowd favourite for the reunion. His first song on Young Talent Time was How Great Thou Art on the 13th of August 1983. They flashed back to feature him singing this as a youngster on the big screen with his mother in the audience.

How incredible to see the performance for the reunion turned into a duet singing with his younger self in harmony, and to see his mother again in the audience 38 years later! This by far, was a highlight for me, and judging by the standing ovation, for the audience as well."

BETTY SAMIS - AUSTRALIAN ARTS REVIEW

When former YTT teen heart-pounder Beven Addinsall appeared on stage, many women audience members shouted: “I love you!” His excellent version of “Unchained Melody” led to the evening’s first spot fires of standing ovations. Footage of Addinsall as a child singing “How Great Thou Art” was shown, and in a neat twist he then performed a duet of the song with his younger self; both Bevens sang beautifully.
